This summer we went on vacation with David's family. We took a long road trip all the way to Yellowstone park. We stopped and visited other national parks along the way.

Our first stop was at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Then on to Zion's National Park to hike the Narrows. (The pictures are still on the disposable camera.)

Then on to Manti to see the pageant. And from there to Salt Lake. David and I even got to go to a session in the Salt Lake temple.

From Salt Lake on to Jackson, WY - Tetons and Yellowstone.

We loved the two weeks. The driving was a bit long. Alayna was a trooper and told us when she was done. We were lucky to have Grandma Dent and Aunt Tracy riding with Alayna in the back. And we probably never would have survived our road trip without Baby Einstein videos, plus lots and lots of snacks. Thanks for reading our little travel log.
Zion National Park is Jason's favorite place in the whole world. Did you love it? (He wants to know). We hiked the Narrows the first time I went but had to come back early because of flash flood warnings. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteYea, sounds like fun. :) We are hoping to stop at the Grand Canyon on our way home from Utah. Depends on what time we can get out of here on Sun.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't made it to Zion, but I love Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. I was in Glacier the 28th to the 1st. It is so beautiful there, you'd both love it. Maybe some day you'll make it that far north.
