Alayna loves books. She will crawl while sliding a book under her hand. Today we went to the library to see a Baby Signs presentation. The presenter was reading the book Brown Bear (one of Alayna's favorites). Alayna was very close to the lady during the reading of the book. Alayna later got the book from where the lady had placed it and brought the book to me. I think she thought the book was hers. She has lots of favorite books and some not so liked. And David will tell you if you are reading from memory and start to fall asleep, Alayna will leave. He has some of the books memorized. She knows how to get her parents attention, bring them a book. And how can a parent say no?

Teething

Alayna's one year molars are coming in. She has never been one to like the baby teether's. She found her latest teether's while she joins me in the bathroom (I probably will not be using the bathroom by myself for the the rest of my life). Well the new teether's are tampons. I don't know why, but she love to crawl around with one in each hand. And I hear her tell me loudly if I try to take her "teether" away.
Happy teething!

Laughter & walking

David can get Alayna laughing by playing with her. There is nothing like a children's laughter. We are having so much fun helping her practice walking. She has no interest in walking by herself. I am kind of glad she is not walking all over the place. I will be happy though when I don't have to carry her everywhere.

Baseball

David and I have enjoyed watching the Diamondbacks on TV. But this year the only way to watch the games is to have cable TV. So we are sitting in our office listening to the game on the radio. Well I am playing on the computer. I am so amazed at how cute people are making their blogs. I am the night is going by so fast. David is telling me Alayna is getting ready to be put to sleep. She still likes to be rocked to sleep.
